Everything starts from a burning passion towards education!
Camou Academy is orginated from Camou Studio, which is founded back in 2010.
While observing Malaysia’s media design industry were lacked with versatile designer – everyone were capable to do just one design aspect; to promote a better quality of design teaching, the director of Camou Studio has dedicated himself in teaching media design, which students are able to master 8 aspects of media design through the course designed, and they are versatile enough to fulfill most of the employers’ requirements.
After establishing Camou Academy, the institute has started to receive recognition among industry. Employers were satisfied with graduates’ quality and provided positive feedback for Camou Academy. This furthered consolidated our confidence level to continue deliver quality design education to our current students.
The institute has also partnered with City of Oxford College to become its partner institutions, which Camou Academy’s students will be awarded UK DIploma qualification by City of Oxford College, UK.
From one level of shop house in Bukit Indah, Camou Academy has shifted to Danga Utama for a larger space and better facilitated for students’ usage. In the next few year, Camou Academy has gradually expanded and currently, the institute owns three buildings (each with 3.5 floor), thus making it to become the largest media design institute in Southern Malaysia.
Camou Academy has also actively expanding its industrial connection these few years, in order to furnish students’ with better learning experience and opportunities. Currently, Camou Academy has develop its very own ecosystem, partnering with different industrial experts to establish companies, which includes performing arts institute founded by Terence Cao (Singapore Artist), 3D animation studio, equipment rental house and media company in Singapore.
Camou Ecosystem created a platform that allows the exposure of students towards different industrial experts, also opens up more job opportunities for Camou students!
In future, Camou Academy strives to continue providing quality design education for our students, at the same time, providing more opportunities and better learning experience for Camou Academy’s students!

Camwerk, which originally founded in Singapore has expanded its international branch in Cambodia and Malaysia, Camou Academy is proudly to be collaborating in setting up Malaysia branch as the only high-end film equipemtn in Malaysia.

Media Art Technology Expo is Malaysia first education expo that combine art and technology, the organization is co-host along with Xi Fang Academy, Camwerk, Chicken Feet, Pinhead and many art industry professional in the region.
